Montreal-based Extenway Solutions has entered into a strategic multi-year agreement with Dish Network to deliver the satellite provider’s programming and content to hotel properties, officials said Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Extenway customers will gain access to a wide selection of new programming options and packages, including premium and HD channels forming the backbone of its new Free-to-Guest offering.
“We are extremely pleased to be able to partner with Dish Network,” Extenway president Jack McAllister said in a prepared statement. “Dish Network has an enviable track-record; whether in terms of delivering extensive entertainment value to 14 million customers or leading the cable industry in customer satisfaction for seven years running.”
“Adding Dish Network’s HD and premium content to the Extenway entertainment portfolio will enable us to better serve our hoteliers as well as delight their guests,” he added.
Extenway Solutions provides interactive TV and guest-media solutions for the hospitality industry, allowing hospitality organizations to intelligently manage and coordinate all in-room guest interactions and communications, as well as deliver actionable guest insight to empower key service and marketing initiatives.
“We see the agreement with Dish Network as a further confirmation of the strength of our team and strategic direction,” McAllister said. “The agreement will bring our hoteliers hundreds of all-digital channels including movies, sports, news, music and the most national HD channels in the US, and further enhance our Free-to-Guest entertainment package.”
