Fans Can Select Duncan Baby's Name on Disney Channel's 'Good Luck Charlie'

The Duncans are adding another family member during their third season of Disney Channel's original series Good Luck Charlie and fans can name their bundle of joy.

The network wants viewers to cast their vote for the name of the new baby brother or sister, who will appear during an hour-long special this spring. Voting -- supporters can pick Noah, Jonah, Toby, Bobby Jr. or Bo, if it's a boy and Sydney, Erika, Mallory, Talia or Jenny, if it's girl -- began on Dec. 2 and continues through Dec. 16 at DisneyChannel.com/BabyVote.

"There's no greater excitement than the arrival of a new baby in the house and we are eager for our viewers to share in the relatable anticipation of a baby girl or baby boy joining the Duncan family they've come to know and love," said Adam Bonnett, senior vice president of original programming at Disney Channels Worldwide in a statement.

Sitcom Good Luck Charlie, whose Christmas-themed telefilm averaged 6.9 million watchers during its Dec. 2 premiere and served as the forum for the announcement about the latest Duncan debut, ranks as TV's No. 1 program on Sundays in the 8 p.m. timeslot among kids 6 to 11 and tweens 9 to 14, said Disney officials.

Overall, the series ranks second for the year among kids 6 to 11 (1.9 million/7.6 rating) and third with tweens (1.6 million/6.6 rating), according to Nielsen data.

The show stars Bridgit Mendler as daughter Teddy; Leigh-Allyn Baker as mom Amy; Bradley Steven Perry as son Gabe; Mia Talerico as toddler Charlie; Eric Allan Kramer as the clan's father, Bob; and Jason Dolley as son PJ.
