FBN, Tennis Share On-Air Info During U.S. Open

Cablevision may not be on the court with the sports programmer, but Fox Business Network is playing doubles with Tennis Channel during the U.S. Open.
FBN and Tennis have entered into a talent- and news-sharing over the course of the Grand Slam fortnight at Flushing Meadows. The financial network's Money for Breakfast will feature the "Court Report" weekdays at 8:20 a.m., while Tennis' Kevin Frazier serves up FBN viewers a recap of the previous day's Open matches/results. Tennis will break into Open coverage nightly at 6 p.m. for the "Fox Business Network Update," with FBN's David Asman's anchoring the market wrap.
"This type of joint-programming partnership is the first of its kind for Tennis Channel, and we're thrilled to be able to offer their business insight and analysis to our audience, while at the same time putting our tennis updates in front of theirs," said Robyn Miller, senior vice president of marketing at Tennis, in a statement.
Tennis CEO Ken Solomon also appeared on FBN last night, discussing the network's growth and its distribution dispute with Cablevision.
