Consumer complaints about the cable industry filed with the Federal
Communications Commission dropped 11% in the second quarter of 2003, the agency
said in a report released Friday.
The commission said it fielded 273 complaints in the April-June quarter
compared with 308 in the January-March quarter. The FCC added that it
experienced a drop in cable "inquiries," from 5,190 in the first quarter to
4,818 in the second.
