FCC Gets 200,000 Janet Complaints

More than 200,000 complaints have reached the Federal Communications Commission in the first six days since Janet Jackson's breast exposure during the Super Bowl halftime show that aired live in primetime on CBS, the commission said Friday.

The agency -- which enforces broadcast-indecency laws -- is investigating whether Jackson's performance was a violation of its rules.

FCC chairman Michael Powell has called Jackson's exposure a "classless, crass, deplorable stunt."
