Hollywood -- Scripps Networks-owned channels Fine Living and Do It Yourself
announced distribution deals with Comcast Corp. Monday, giving both networks the
potential of reaching an additional 20 million subscribers.

Terms of the deals were not disclosed, and it's unclear which Comcast systems
will launch the networks.

Both DIY and Fine Living are available to 13 million households, according to
Scripps officials making the announcement at the Television Critics Association
tour here.

In other Fine Living news, the network will launch several new series and
specials as part of a rebranding of its primetime lineup. Beginning Jan. 27, the
network will develop theme nights based on its trademark lifestyles
categories.

Mondays will feature programming around "Favorite Things," or quality-of-life
programming. Tuesdays will be dubbed "Personal Space" for shows surrounding the
home or workspace. Wednesdays are "Every Day," dedicated to skeins that help to
balance work and play. Thursdays will focus on "Adventure" programming. And
Fridays will feature "Transport" shows targeting travel.

Among the new shows set to help launch the theme nights are Sheila
Bridges: Designer Living
, a 30-minute series featuring the renowned interior
designer, set to premiere Jan. 28.

The network will also premiere a series of weekly Sunday-night specials later
this year. The specials will include Fantasy Camp, which profiles summer
camp for adults.
