Verizon Communications, continuing its attack on Time Warner Cable in the Big Apple, expanded a deal with real estate tycoon Donald Trump to wire four more of his company's New York apartment buildings for FiOS TV and Internet services.
The telco will soon begin connecting its fiber network to Trump Place at 120 Riverside, Trump Place at 200 Riverside, Trump Place at 220 Riverside and The Heritage at Trump Place, which collectively contain 1,264 living units. Verizon already offers FiOS to residents of five other Trump buildings.
"Verizon is delivering its FiOS services over fiber-optic lines connected straight to my buildings, which meets and exceeds the high standard of technology and service excellence I demand," Donald Trump said in a statement. "We know our residents will appreciate having the option to choose the very latest and best in entertainment and broadband services from Verizon."
The companies said they are exploring other Trump properties that can be served by Verizon FiOS services.
