FiOS Slots Four More NBCU Nets Into TV Everywhere Site

Verizon FiOS TV subs now have online access to programming from 42 networks, after the telco added NBCUniversal’s Golf Channel, E!, Style and Sprout to its TV Everywhere website.

The telco stocked the My Verizon portal with content from 11 NBCU nets last month, under a wide-ranging program carriage pact with the programmer last fall. Those networks were Bravo, USA, Oxygen, MSNBC, CNBC (including a live simulcast), NBC News, NBC, Syfy, mun2, Telemundo and Cozi TV.

The Golf Channel is now available on the My Verizon website with live and on-demand programming, and FiOS users can now watch a live Internet simulcast of MSNBC. Other new online fare includes E!’s After Lately, Style’s Jerseylicious, and Sprout’s The Chica Show and Chloe’s Closet.

FiOS TV customers can log on to My Verizon with their username and password. Currently the telco does not provide access to the TV Everywhere content through mobile apps, but Verizon will add “more networks and devices in the future,” spokeswoman Heather Wilner said.

Separately, Verizon offers in-home access to up to 75 live channels for FiOS TV and Internet customers on Apple iPads, select Samsung and LG Internet-connected TVs, and Microsoft Xbox 360 consoles.
