FLN Picks Up Ex-MOJO HD Mainstay ‘Three Sheets’

Fine Living Network has picked up Zane Lamprey’s Three Sheets, a traveling show about international drinking customs that was a mainstay on the late MOJO HD.

The half-hour series launches a fourth season on Monday, July 20, at 10 p.m. ET/PT. FLN bought the back catalog plus 18 unseen episodes: MOJO HD, its former home, was closed down by cable-operator-owned In Demand Networks this past December.

Scripps Networks-owned FLN plans a marketing campaign focused on social networking tools including Facebook and Twitter.

Facebook's "The Official Three Sheets" fan page will feature video postings including behind-scenes footage, outtakes called "Short Sheets" and live event footage, and will be a destination for information regarding Three Sheets viewing parties pegged to premieres.  The site will have a downloadable graphic, "I Saved Three Sheets," a testament to the show's fan base. For more about the fan base, see Lamprey's Web site. He has a big thank-you posted there, and full episodes are posted from the first three seasons.

FLN will also dedicate a Twitter account to the show allowing followers to receive links to episodic teases, photos and posts relevant to upcoming show content.

Exclusive video content will be available to key bloggers and major content syndicators including MSN, MySpace, Maxim and Ask Men.

“We are happy to add the hilarious and knowledgeable Zane Lamprey to our talent roster,” FLN general manager Chad Youngblood said in a release. He said Three Sheets "will add nicely to our growing lineup of cocktail shows.”

During the fourth season, Lamprey explores the way local ingredients are being used in Hawaii’s vibrant cocktail scene, plays drinking games (hammers, saws, spikes and lumber) in Poland and knocks back both “Black Death” and moonshine known as “Landi” in Iceland. Other travel stops during the season include Lithuania, St. Martin, New Zealand (in the season debut), Panama, Namibia, Tuscany, Barbados, New Castle, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Tanzania.
