Road Runner alumna Meredith Flynn-Ripley has taken over the reins as
president and CEO of cable-network-management provider Stargus Inc.

She replaces Russ Stephens, who recently left the company to pursue other
interests.

A former MediaOne Group Inc. executive, Flynn-Ripley helped to start up the
Road Runner high-speed Internet service and served as vice president of
corporate development there for several years.

She comes to Stargus after a stint as president and CEO of Into Networks
Inc., a software-on-demand outfit.

Andover, Mass.-based Stargus provides the 'CableEdge' management-software
suite designed specifically for Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification
networks.

'As Stargus quickly transitions out of market trials and into customer
engagements, Meredith brings to the company extensive operations,
business-development and product-management experience at a large MSO,
cable-modem Internet-service provider and a private software company selling to
MSOs,' said Stephen Van Beaver, a Stargus board director and general partner at
Pilot House Ventures LLC.

'Her diverse skill set and deep industry relationships will help to focus and
accelerate the company in deploying its CableEdge products,' he
added.
