Former Google Exec Named CTO of Guavus

Big data specialist Guavus has hired former Google exec Anupam Rastogi to chief technology officer, and has appointed Sergey Sukov to the post of VP, engineering and delivery.

Rastogi was Google’s former head of reporting platform & solutions for corporate engineering. He is also late of NetApp, Cisco Systems and Oracle. 

Sukov joined Guavus in 2013, and most recently served as VP, head of connected experience business unit.

Liberty Global, one of Guavus’s customers, recently made a strategic investment in the Big Data vendor but did not announce the amount.  Mike LaJoie, the former executive vice president and chief technology officer of Time Warner Cable, was appointed chairman of Guavus in January.
