The National Cable & Telecommunications Association will provide four display pavilions on the exhibit floor at the 2006 National Show that will showcase a wide range of products and services.
The four pavilions are:
• CableNET, with more than 40 vendors demonstrating cutting-edge products and services coming to market soon, also featuring a special lounge where the latest plug-and-play television sets and set-tops built to cable's next-generation platform -- including OpenCable Application Platform and Enhanced TV standards -- will be on display. Cable Television Laboratories Inc. is sponsoring CableNET.
• VoiceNET, which the NCTA described as “a one-stop showcase to display and demonstrate how cable can deliver superior voice products and services over its high-speed fiber-optic broadband network.”
• BizNET, up to 2,800 square feet of the latest innovations designed to help cable operators capture a greater share of the business- and commercial-telecommunications market.
• Cable Game Arena, a 7,200-square-foot arcade-like exhibit anchored by GameTap, Turner Broadcasting System Inc.’s broadband-entertainment network, which will provide a hands-on opportunity for attendees to experience new features available through broadband video gaming.
The NCTA’s 55th Annual Convention and International Exposition -- themed, “Cable: A Great American Success Story” -- will be held April 9-11 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
