Fox Business Network Signs Varney to Extension

Fox Business Network has inked a multiyear renewal with Stuart Varney, who will continue to anchor the service’s Varney & Co.

Since January 2010, Varney has anchored FBN’s Varney & Co. He has been with the network since its 2007 launch and also serves as a substitute host for Fox News Channel’s Your World with Neil Cavuto. Since joining FNC’s business team in 2004 from CNBC, Varney has contributed to the network’s weekday and weekend business programming, including Your WorldBulls & Bears,Cavuto on Business and Cashin’ In.

“Stuart’s astute business sense and respect within the financial community make him a premier anchor and an essential part of our team,” said Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. “We look forward to his continued success with Fox Business.”

The deal for Varney was negotiated by Larry Kramer of Kramer Talent Management.
