Fox Deportes has launched a nationwide talent search in
hopes of finding the next Latina sports reporter.
Under the moniker "Reportera Fox," the search is currently
underway with a winner to be announced May 7.
The contest's winner will get the opportunity to cover an
international soccer match for the network with all expenses paid, Fox said. To
qualify, women must be 18 and older, legal U.S. residents and fluent in
Spanish.
The contest kicked off last month and is ongoing at http://www.fanaticoscongarra.com/reportera,
where contestants can pick a script in Spanish and upload their own video.
Judges
from the network will review video submissions and choose the 10 most-qualified
finalists. Names will be announced April 16.
