Fox International Channels' Utilisima, a 24-hour channel aimed at Hispanic women, will use Rentrak's TV Essentials service to analyze viewing habits based on data collected from set-top boxes.
Utilisima -- which became a unit of Fox International Channels in 2007 -- is carried by Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Dish Network, Cablevision Systems and Charter Communications.
The TV Essentials service aggregates data from Dish Network, AT&T U-verse and Charter's Los Angeles system, including viewing of programming and advertising across video-on-demand, DVR, interactive and linear TV.
"As a new network in the early stage of distribution, it is critical to have access to robust and accurate media measurement in order to prove the value proposition of our unique programming to advertisers," Fox International Channels COO Hernan Lopez said in a statement. "The depth of knowledge Rentrak metrics provide to Hispanic networks provides an unparalleled advantage as Utilisima continues to expand in the United States."
According to Rentrak, Fox International Channels is the 46th network client for its TV Essentials service.
