Fox, MSGN Reach Yankees Deal

Madison Square Garden Network announced Tuesday that it has reached an
agreement with the local New York network affiliate to televise 50 New York
Yankees Major League Baseball games for the 2001 season.

MSGN will oversee production of the Fox 5 broadcasts. Fox has carried Yankees
baseball games for the past three years.

MSG and the YankeeNets Group, which represents the team's TV rights, reached
a one-year cable deal late last year estimated at $52 million.
