Fox News and CNN were the choice of cable viewers last week as the most watched networks during election week, according to Nielsen.
Fox News finished first in primetime during the week of Nov. 7 to Nov. 13, averaging 4.9 million viewers. CNN finished second with 3.2 million watchers, according to Nielsen.
ESPN was a distant third with 2.5 million, followed by Hallmark’s 2.0 million viewers and MSNBC’s 1.9 million viewers.
AMC (1.4 million viewers), USA Network and TBS (tied with 1.3 million) and HGTV, Discovery Channel and Disney Channel (all tied with 1.1 million) rounded out the top 10.
Fox News and CNN also finished first and second respectively on a 24-hour basis, followed by Nickelodeon, MSNBC and Hallmark Channel.
