Fox News Dominates Cable's Election Night Viewership


Fox News topped the cable networks in primetime election coverage Tuesday night, drawing a total audience of nearly 7 million from 8 p.m.-11 p.m., according to fast national data from Nielsen.

The longstanding cable news leader averaged 6.96 million viewers, followed by CNN's 2.42 million viewers and MSNBC's 1.95 million.

In the news target adults 25-54 demo, Fox counted 2.43 million viewers of those viewers, CNN 1.03 million and MSNBC 669,000.
