When it came to viewers tuning in President Bush’s address about Iraq Tuesday night, Fox News Channel easily held court over its cable-news rivals.

Among adults 25-54, Fox News garnered 1.07 million of those watchers, compared with 247,000 for CNN and 179,000 for MSNBC.
It was much the same in the following half hour’s worth of analysis and commentary. Fox News averaged 3.27 million total viewers and 946,000 of the aforementioned demos. CNN scored 960,000 and 260,000, respectively, ahead of 392,000 and 160,000 for MSNBC, respectively.
