Fox Picks Up Braves' Games from PeachTree TV

Filling in the club's regional TV roster, Fox Sports South and SportsSouth have picked up the rights to 45 more Atlanta Braves games.

The two Fox-owned networks are adding 45 games per season that have been televised on Turner’s PeachTree TV in Atlanta since the 2008 Major League Baseball campaign, lifting their combined total to more than 150 telecasts of the club annually.

Financial terms of the deal, which removes Braves game from the over-the-air platform and consolidates the club's offering on cable, were not disclosed.

The scheduling plan calls for Fox Sports South to air 72 games largely on Fridays-Saturdays and Sundays, while Sports South will present 80 contests on Mondays through Thursdays as Fox looks to build programming continuity around the squad that was once known as “America’s Team,” when TBS Superstation beamed Barves action nationally.
