Underlining its commitment to futbol, Fox Sports will serve up a number of windows for its documentary series about Liverpool FC.
Fox Broadcast, providing strong lead-in or lead-out support, will premiere the first installment of Being Liverpool this Sunday around its coverage of American football. Being Liverpool, which marks the first time that cameras have been allowed inside a Barclays Premier League locker room, will kick off either preceding (3 p.m. (ET) or following (4:30 p.m.) the network’s NFL on Fox singleheader coverage. There will also be two encore airings on Sept. 16 on Fox Soccer.
Future episodes of Being Liverpool will debut in primetime on Fox Soccer and MundoFox, beginning Sunday Sept. 23 at 9 p.m.
Fox Broadcast's regular-season Barclays Premier League schedule starts that day with a tape-delay match featuring Liverpool vs. Manchester United. Subsequent BPL tape-delay coverage is set for Sunday, Oct. 7, when Newcastle takes on Manchester United and Sunday, Nov. 4, when Liverpool and Newcastle face-off.
All three tape-delay games, which air either from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.-6:30, will have debued live earlier in the day on Fox Soccer.
