Fox Sports en Español will carry an exclusive selection of Mexican League soccer matches under a two-year deal announced Wednesday.
The network will air a minimum of 26 regular-season matches per year,. This season’s slate kicks off with Jaguares visiting Atlas Saturday at 4 p.m. (EST).
Fox Sports en Español also airs games from soccer leagues of Argentina, Brazil, El Salvador and Major League Soccer from the United States.
“We are pleased to offer our viewers exclusive matches from the most popular soccer league among Latino fans,” Fox Sports en Español general manager David Sternberg said in a prepared statement.
“With this agreement, we have clearly solidified our position in the fast-growing Spanish-language television marketplace, and our viewers, advertisers and cable and satellite distributors will all be the beneficiaries,” he added.
