World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. said Friday that it will offer its upcoming “SmackDown! The Great American Bash” pay-per-view event free-of-charge to domestic United Service Organizations affiliates.
The Great American Bash will air live from the Norfolk (Va.) Scope Arena Sunday, June 27 at 8 p.m. EST.
"Our troops and their families have shown great courage and strength during this very difficult time, and we're proud to offer them the opportunity to watch SmackDown!'s The Great American Bash PPV on June 27 absolutely free through their local USO," WWE executive vice president of marketing Kurt Schneider said in a prepared statement.
