Frontier to Add DirecTV to Flights

Frontier Airlines Inc. said late Thursday that it plans to add DirecTV Inc.
programming on select aircraft beginning later this year.

The company signed a letter of intent with LiveTV, and it expects to sign a
more formal agreement in July, Frontier said in a press release. It could
upgrade complete its upgrades for personalized in-seat television by next
spring.

LiveTV also delivers live DirecTV Airborne programming to individual seats on
JetBlue Airways flights within the Continental United States.

Through the deal with Frontier, 24 channels of DirecTV programming will be
available to passengers, including one special sports and entertainment
feed.

The other networks are Bloomberg Television, CNN Headline News, MSNBC, CNBC,
The Weather Channel, Courtroom Television Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPN
Classic, The Golf Channel, The Travel Channel, Home & Garden Television,
Food Network, Game Show Network, A&E Network, The History Channel, Discovery
Channel, Discovery Kids, The Learning Channel, Animal Planet, Boomerang, and
DirecTV Sports.
