Frost in the Air at Fox News

Former Rep. Martin Frost (D-Texas) has joined Fox News Channel as a political contributor.

Frost left Congress in 2004, and he was most recently in the 2005 race to become the chairman of the Democratic National Committee.

He served 13 terms in Congress from 1978-2004, chairing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from January 1995-December 1998 and serving as chairman of the Democratic Caucus for two terms beginning in 1999. He was also the ranking Democrat on the House Rules Committee from May 2001-2004.

“I am very pleased to be working with Fox News Channel,” Frost said in a prepared statement. “Americans turn to FNC first for news about important events, and I welcome the opportunity to be a part of the nation's leading cable news network.”
