Fox Sports To Carry 21 Live PBC Boxing Cards Through June

FOX Sports is the latest entity to step into the ring to distribute Premier Boxing Champions live fights beginning in September.

Fox Sport 1 will distribute 21 PBC-promoted fight cards through June as part of its Toe-To-Toe Tuesdays boxing series, the company said. The series will launch Sept. 8 with a card featuring welterweights Austin Trout against Joey Hernandez and a junior featherweight fight between Jorge Lara and Jesus Rojas.

“We’ve been invested in boxing as a cornerstone property since launching FOX Sports 1,” says Nathanson. “Premier Boxing Champions delivers high-profile, high-quality programing that is breaking viewership records in the boxing space. There is no question that this deal makes FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes true destinations for boxing fans.”

Fox Sports 1 joins NBC,CBS,Spike tv,ESPN and Bounce TV in reaching distribution deals with PBC to air live boxing matches.

FS1 will also air a Sept. 15 bout between undefeated welterweight Sammy Vasquez and Jose Lopez; a Sept. 22 fight card featuring super welterweight bout between Julian Williams and Luciano Cuello super welterweight battle and a Sept. 29 fight between super featherweight champion Javier Fortuna and Carlos Velazquez.
