Fuel to Top 20M Mark


Days before its three-year anniversary, Fuel will top the 20 million-subscriber mark this week, Fox Cable Networks said.

Recent commitments from direct-broadcast satellite service DirecTV and other distributors will push the action-sports network past the 22 million-subscriber mark, making it one of the fastest-growing networks ever.

"We’re proud of how fast we've grown in three years, while steadfastly remaining true and credible to our core audience,” general manager David Sternberg said in a prepared statement. “From distribution to ad sales to production to marketing, we've moved beyond partnerships that are one-time collaborations to long-standing relationships that enhance and extend every aspect of the Fuel TV brand and community."
