Fuse said Cox Communications has launched the music network on its Oklahoma system and will make Fuse’s high-definition on-demand videos available to digital cable subscribers across all its systems.
Cablevision-owned Fuse said the Oklahoma launch puts the channel in all of the top 50 Nielsen-rated television markets for the first time.
This also represents the second cable launch of Fuse HD Video-on-Demand, which shows concerts, music videos, interviews and original series. Comcast launched it in July and carries it in 32 systems, according to the network. Cox has 2.4 million subscribers with access to video on demand, a network release said.
Fuse, part of Cablevision’s Madison Square Garden unit, has more than 60 million subscribers now.
