Fuse Goes Gaga For Lady Gaga

Fuse will devote an entire week's schedule to content revolving around music superstar Lady Gaga in anticipation of the May 23rd debut of her upcoming album Born this Way, the network said Friday.

As part of the "LadyGagaThon" which runs from May 17 to May 24, Fuse will debut a two-part special Lady Gaga Born This Way: On The Record With Fuse, in which Fuse on-air host Toure' interviews the pop icon. Part one of the interview premieres May 17, while the second part bows the next night, network officials said.

Also slated for the marathon is a special Gaga-fused edition of the network's Top 20 Countdown show as well as Lady Gaga: Look Book, which will take a look back at how Lady Gaga's unique fashion sense has evolved over the years.

On the web, fans can click on the Fuse site to participate in a Monster's Choice poll which allow participants to vote for their favorite Lady Gaga videos. The videos will appear during a May 22 special, said the network.

In addition, fans will be able to help Fuse donate money to Gaga's charity, the Robin Hood Foundation. Each time consumers tweet using the hashtag #fusemonster, Fuse will donate $.10 per tweet, according to network officials.

"We are excited to commemorate the latest album release from Lady Gaga, one of the biggest artists in music history, with a week-long party honoring her on Fuse," said Bradley Schwartz, svp of programming and operations in a statement. "Our original programming, coupled with fan-fueled content, will give her voracious fan base an exclusive, fun-filled seven days of all things Gaga."
