Fuse Launches O.A.R. VOD Show On Xfinity in Baltimore

Fuse and Comcast's Xfinity TV have launched a special on-demand program in the Baltimore area featuring local rockers O.A.R.

This edition of My City. My Music. runs through Friday, July 20. The hometown quintet, whose initials stand for Of A Revolution, takes viewers on a musical tour of such local haunts as Rams Head Live, the Camden Yards ballpark, indie record store The Sound Garden and Merriweather Post Pavilion.

Mike Bair, president of Fuse parent MSG Media, said in a release that the show was "a perfect example of the unique and exclusive programming that we look forward to bringing to subscribers in many more markets in the near future." Fuse earlier did versions of My City. My Music. in Boston and Chicago, also teamed with Xfinity TV. Martin Johnson of Boys Like Girls was in the Boston version and the band Kill Hannah was featured in Chicago.

On Xfinity TV in the greater Baltimore area, the show is available via Channel 1 On Demand and selecting "Get Local" from the main menu, which links to "Entertainment," from which you choose My City. My Music.

Fuse and Xfinity TV also are holding for Maryland, D.C. and Virginia Xfinity TV subscribers a contest to win roundtrip transportation for two to New York City, hotel accommodations, tickets to a concert at a Madison Square Garden venue, and Fuse merchandise at www.fusemycity.com.

Fuse also is now offering Xfinity TV subscribers in Boston and Chicago access to buy tickets to events at local MSG-owned venues, the Chicago Theatre in Chicago and the Wang Theatre in Boston, 24 hours before the tickets go on sale to the general public.
