FX Has Glimpse of Glory

FX telepic A Glimpse of Hell posted a 3.3 rating, making it the
network's highest-rated original ever, officials said Tuesday.

The made-for-TV movie, starring James Caan and Robert Sean Leonard, was seen
in 1.96 million homes by 2.7 million viewers this past Sunday, making it the
most-watched program -- original, acquired or sports -- in FX's seven-year
history.

A Glimpse of Hell is based on the true story of an explosion aboard the
battleship USS Iowa. A Navy probe tried to attribute the incident to a
murder-suicide resulting from a homosexual seaman acting out of jealousy.

The previous record high for an FX original was the 2.4 rating earned by
original movies Deliberate Intent and The Sight.
