Culver City, Calif.— Game Show Network has signed up key lab partners for its "Get Schooled Tour."
Comcast Corp. will take part in 11 of the educational tour's 13 stops, while Bank of America signed on last week as a key sponsor.
Get Schooled, which starts March 15 in San Francisco, extends through May 17 in Los Angeles. On each tour stop, consumers can take part in educational game events, raffles and interactive game demonstrations. Students can also obtain financial-aid information on site.
Students in each city can also participate in a live game-show competition to determine the winner of a $10,000 529 College Savings Plan, GSN senior vice president Dena Kaplan said. There will also be an online winner in GSN's "Get Schooled National Sweepstakes."
Charter Communications Inc. will serve as the network affiliate co-sponsor in Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C. (April 6) and St. Louis (May 3).
The multiplatform promotion will be sponsored by Bank of America's Student Banking Group, as well as CompUSA, World Book Encyclopedia, Sony Electronics, Skechers USA Inc., Spencer Gifts and Collegeclub.com, said Kaplan.
Premiere Radio Networks affiliates will run local tour promotions in the 13 markets.
