GameTap subscribers will get a sneak peak at several Strategy First Inc. video-game titles before their in-store release.
Turner Broadcasting System Inc.’s broadband-entertainment network will also get the rights to license new titles from Strategy First during the post-retail phase, and the deal between the two parities includes 40 Strategy First library titles to be added to the GameTap service.
Among library titles slated for GameTap are the “Disciples” and “Jagged Alliance” franchises, as well as “Legion Gold,” “Battle of Europe” and the “Space Empires” series.
Strategy First, founded in 1990, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Silverstar Holdings Ltd.
