Still in the early planning phase, the group is exploring industry priorities, such as the bridge between product development and marketing, rapidly-changing media consumption patterns, and game-changing developments in advertising.
"The historic economic crisis makes this year's Summit and inaugural Fall Cable Connection especially critical. Our business models are pressured and every marketing dollar in our budgets is precious," said Schiffman in a statement. "Against that backdrop, marketing best practices could not be more valuable. We are committed to drawing on the extraordinary expertise offered by those gathering in Denver to create a truly meaningful ROI for those who attend."
Noted Gillman: "The need for the Summit could not be greater this year. Companies that come out of challenging times stronger do so by leveraging great ideas and focusing the dialogue on the major topics of the Summit, the changing needs of consumers and the products that will drive growth."
