GMC said it secured launches on Time Warner Cable and Comcast systems totaling 1.5 million subscribers.
On Time Warner Cable, GMC has launched GMC-HD on its New York City system, and will launch in high-definition and standard-definition in upstate New York in July.
On Comcast, GMC will launch in SD and HD in the central Illinois area later this month.
"These launches bring us to the doorstep of nearly 50 million homes, a major milestone for us," Charley Humbard, president of GMC, said in a statement.
