GoldPocket Interactive Inc. announced interactive-TV initiatives with two cable networks Thursday.
The Tandberg Television unit is working with The History Channel to bring its Boys’ Toys to the Internet and wireless phones. “‘Boys’ Toys Interactive’ enables gearheads to use the gadgets they love to interact with each episode through synchronized content related to the on-air programming and advertising by IBM [Corp.],” GoldPocket said.
And viewers can help British actress-comedian Daisy Donovan on her “irreverent search for the American Dream” during TBS’ Daisy Does America, which air Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).
With GoldPocket’s help, viewers logged onto TBS.com (tbs.com) will get the chance to play along with Daisy as she takes on new personas each week.
Tandberg completed its acquisition of GoldPocket Nov. 15.
