GolTV Nets Rights to Top Brazilian Soccer League

GolTV Thursday announced that it
has acquired exclusive U.S.
and Canada broadcast rights
to Brazil's
most prominent professional soccer league, Campeonato Brasileiro.

Live coverage of the soccer
matches begins in April as top Brazilian league players such as Rogerio Ceni,
Ze Roberto and Gustavo Nery hit the pitch in their quest for the Campeonato
Brasileiro Serie A title.

The bilingual soccer channel will also exclusively follow the 20 regional
teams challenging for the Campeonato Paulistatrophy. The most famous soccer tournament within the state of São Paulo, the 2009 edition of the Campeonato Paulista will
feature reigning champ Palmeiras fending off favorites Corinthians, Santos and São
Paulo for the championship cup.

The Campeonato
Paulista will kick off on GolTV on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 4:00 p.m. ET. A complete schedule of all dates and times
