Washington -- The owners of GoodLife Television Network
have hired the investment bank Daniels & Associates to seek strategic partners --
possible MSOs -- to aid the struggling baby-boomer-oriented programming service.
Crown Communications Corp., which owns the network formerly
called Nostalgia Network, agreed to pay Daniels up to $250,000 to assist in the partner
search, plus a possible fee if a deal gets done, according to a Dec. 23 filing with the
Securities and Exchange Commission. Crown hired Daniels on Dec. 15. Crown would like to
possibly exchange equity in the network for operator carriage, the filing said.
GoodLife has been hit by revenue declines and rising losses
as a result of subscriber losses and greater spending on programming.
