Grande Communications said it has launched 1 Gbps broadband in San Antonio, a debut that wraps up the operator’s deployment of gigabit services in the operator’s Texas-area footprint.
Grande said the latest deployment utilizes DOCSIS 3.1 technology on its HFC plant in San Antonio, complementing 1-Gig service it also offers there on its FTTH network.
Grande said residential pricing for 1-Gbps service starts at $69.99 per month. In addition to San Antonio, Grande also serves Austin, Dallas, San Marcos, Waco, Temple, Corpus Christi, Midland and Odessa.
