The Great Lakes Cable Expo will establish a regional cable hall of fame at this year's trade show.

Initial inductees are: Al Aldridge, director of public affairs, Advance/Newhouse Communications, Indianapolis; Jay Satterfield, president, construction division, Time Warner Cable; Robert E. Ryan, vice president of government affairs, Comcast Corp., Chicago; Brian Sullivan, area president for Chicago North, Comcast; Terrance Dowling, director of marketing, Comcast; Daniel Murphy, vice president of technical operations, Chicago, Comcast; and Stephen Fry, president, Time Warner southeast division.

Also to be inducted are: Virgil Reed, president, Time Warner Cable, Cincinnati; Robert Gessner, president, Massillon Cable TV; Joan Etten, president, Cable Television & Communications Association of Illinois; Carl Blumhorst, general manager, Advance/Newhouse; Ester Viles, regional manager, government relations, Mediacom Communications Corp.; William Randles, retired; and David Huey, president, Block Communications.

Inductees will be honored at the trade show in Indianapolis on March 27.

Pinnacle awards, bestowed upon executives for their significant accomplishments in various industry categories, will also be presented.

Set to receive Pinnacles: Ellen Jackson, retired director of marketing promotions, Buckeye Cable System, for marketing; Patricia Keenan, regional vice president of communications, Comcast, for leadership; Joe Stackhouse, senior vice president, Comcast Chicago, for customer service; and Bill Jasso, Northeast Ohio division vice president of public affairs, Time Warner Cable, for government and community relations.

Also to be honored are Greg Evans, Charter Communications Inc.'s Illinois state manager, for operations management; and David Stone, Hallmark Channel's central regional vice president, representing association affiliate members.
