Last week, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association and
Supercomm officials announced a program to make it easier for international
attendees to visit both shows.
Supercomm is June 1 through 5 in Atlanta, while the National Show runs June 4
through 7 in Chicago.
Tuesday, Supercomm announced that Dick Green, president and CEO of Cable
Television Laboratories Inc., and Patrick Esser, vice president of operations at
Cox Communications Inc., will participate in a joint keynote session June 4.
"This increased focus on the market is in direct response to the industry's
growing interest in cable technology and directly evidenced by Supercomm 2003
attendee interest," the organization said, noting that 14 percent of last year's
attendees represented the cable-network sector.
Representatives from Motorola Inc., Scientific-Atlanta Inc. and Arris will
participate in a cable-modem panel session at Supercomm.
