Picking up 15,723 subscribers in the past year, Food Network was the
fastest-growing basic network, according to Nielsen Media Research universe
estimates supplied by Discovery Communications Inc.

SoapNet had the second-biggest spurt, adding 15,723 subscribers.

It was followed by Hallmark Channel (14,894), Fox News Channel (14,286),
Courtroom Television Network (13,828), TV Land (12,794), FX (12,136), Bravo
(12,072), Country Music Television (11,852) and MTV2 (11,302).
