GSN HD, with 25 million homes in sight eight months after its debut, is gaining new affiliates, including Comcast in Chicago, for summer launches.
The high-definition simulcast of GSN is on Dish Network, Time Warner Cable New York City, Service Electric Cablevision and Bright House Networks. The most recently announced launch was on Dish Network last month.
The game-show programmer's scheduled summer launches are on Comcast; Time Warner Cable; WOW! Internet, Cable and Phone; GCI; Blue Ridge Communications; Cinergy MetroNet; Foothills Broadband; and Midcontinent Communications.
The launches will make GSN HD available to subscribers in the following service areas:
Comcast: City of Chicago; Philadelphia and Harrisburg, Pa.; Detroit; Jackson, Miss.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Monroe, La.
Time Warner Cable: Northeast Ohio; Buffalo and upstate N.Y.; New England.
WOW!: Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio; Detroit; Chicago area.
GCI: Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, Ketchikan, Palmer, Petersburg, Seward, Sitka, Valdez, Wasilla, and Wrangell, Alaska.
Blue Ridge Communications: Pennsylvania.
Cinergy MetroNet: Indiana.
Foothills Broadband: Kentucky.
Midcontinent Communications: Huron, Yankton, Spearfish, Rapid City, Mitchell, Aberdeen, Watertown, Pierre, and Sioux Falls, S.D.; Bowman, West Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Devil's Lake, N.D.
GSN HD is available on HD satellite Galaxy 13, Transponder 13.
