Game Show Network announced Wednesday that Bank of America N.A. has signed to
sponsor the "Get Schooled Tour," starting March 15 in San Francisco.
The tour will visit 13 markets all told, ending May 17 in Los Angeles.
Besides being the network affiliate cosponsoring the tour in both of those
markets, Comcast Corp. will participate in all but two of the other stops.
Those two exceptions -- Greenville/Spartanburg, S.C., and St. Louis April 6
and May 3, respectively -- will feature Charter Communications Inc. as the local
Premiere Radio Networks Inc. affiliates in those 13 markets will run local
promotions in support of the tour.
GSN senior vice president Dena Kaplan said the multiplatform promotion will
be sponsored not only by Bank of America's Student Banking Group, but also by
CompUSA, World Book Encyclopedia, Sony Electronics Corp., Skechers U.S.A. Inc.,
Spencer Gifts and Collegeclub.com (www.collegeclub.com).
On each stop in the tour, consumers can participate in educational game
events, raffles and interactive game demonstrations. Students also can obtain
financial-aid information on-site.
In addition, Kaplan said, students can participate in a live game-show
competition to determine the 529 College Savings Plan $10,000 winner in each

Sakin appointed Scott Loos as director of Western-region ad sales, based in
Santa Monica, Calif.
