Hallmark Adds Comcast Subs In L.A and D.C.

Comcast Corp. is adding Hallmark Channel to systems in Los Angeles; Washington, D.C.; and Prince George’s County, Md., near D.C., the network said last Tuesday.

The launches will bring Hallmark’s 2004 subscriber-growth total to 5.3 million and push its total distribution past 61 million homes. The Crown Media Holdings Inc.-owned service said it is now distributed via nearly 4,000 cable systems and direct-to-home satellite services across the country.
