Hallmark Channel 'Adopts' Reality Skein

Hallmark Entertainment has initiated production on a reality series centering
on the adoption process for Hallmark Channel U.S.

A one-hour skein portraying the real-life experiences of parents, families,
birth parents and adoptive children, Adoption -- executive-produced by
Hallmark Entertainment's Robert Halmi Jr. -- will bow May 12, Mother's Day.

Production crews have been sent to locations in Vietnam, Russia, China and
Guatemala to document the unfolding stories of domestic and international
adoptions.

'Adoption is perfect for Hallmark Channel because of our commitment to
presenting the 'stories you keep,'' said Lani Corbi, president and CEO of Crown
Media United States, which operates Hallmark Channel U.S., in a prepared
statement.

'We feel strongly that our viewers will connect to the memorable stories they
see on Adoption,' she added.
