Martha Stewart will make her first primetime appearance on Hallmark Channel when she hosts a Sept. 19 special, Martha Stewart Presents: The Women Who Dress America.
The on-hour interview special -- timed to coincide with the close of Fashion Week festivities in New York -- will celebrate fashion icons Diane Von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Tory Burch and Jenna Lyons, according to Hallmark officials.
The special is one of several interview shows featuring Stewart that will air on the network. The next Martha Stewart Presents primetime special is set for November. Next month The Martha Stewart Show will move to Hallmark weekdays at 10 a.m., according to the network.
"Martha Stewart is one of the most emulated and influential people of our time," Bill Abbott, CEO of Hallmark Channels, said in a release. "Guests on Martha's primetime specials will come from many different arenas, and with Martha starting the conversation, Martha Stewart Presents will be one of the most interesting and entertaining hours on television."
