Hallmark Gives Nielsen Thanks For Holiday Film


Hallmark Channel's original holiday telepic, A Family Thanksgiving, scored as the top ad-supported film in cable last week.
Starring Daphne Zuniga, A Family Thanksgiving averaged a 2.0 household rating and 2.28 million viewers on Nov. 6, according to Nielsen data. The telepic, following a career-driven attorney (Zuniga) who gets a reality check when the mysterious Gina (Faye Dunaway) shows up as Thanksgiving nears and transforms her from an intense workaholic into a wife and stay-at-home mom, drew 3.4 million unduplicated viewers, according to network officials.
The movie also ranked third in cable the week of Nov. 1-7 among women 25 to 54, with a 0.9 mark against that demo
