The Dec. 20 premiere of Hallmark Channel’s original holiday telefilm Our First Christmas ranked as cable’s top movie of the day and was second in its time period.
The movie, starring Dixie Carter and John Ratzenberger, averaged a 2.8 household rating from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., 2.4 million homes and 3.2 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research data.
The movie’s performance boosted Hallmark to rank third in primetime for the day with a 2.4 household rating) and seventh for the week of Dec. 15-21 with a 1.6 rating, over 1.3 million homes and 1.8 million total viewers, according to Nielsen.
On the demo front, Our First Christmas ranked in the top 10 in the delivery of women 25 to 54 (4th at 675,000); adults 25 to 54 (10th at 867,000); and women 18 to 49 (eighth at 412,000).
Hallmark Channel’s sixth and final original holiday movie this season, A Kiss at Midnight, starring Faith Ford, Dyan Cannon and Hal Linden, premieres Dec. 27 at 9 p.m..
