May is the month for movie marathons on Hallmark Channel.
The family-friendly service will offer viewers a trio of themed-movie marathons, including Mother’s Day and Memorial Day weekend festivals.
The Mother’s Day marathon, featuring original movies and Hallmark Hall of Fame presentations, are scheduled on Saturday, May 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 a.m. and on mom’s day May 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. On May 10, Hallmark will air: Where There’s a Will (1 p.m.); The Shell Seekers (3 p.m.); Ordinary Miracles (5 p.m. and 11 p.m.); Back to You & Me (7 p.m.); Candles on Bay Street (9 p.m.) and Follow the Stars Home (1 a.m.)
Come Mother’s Day, the network is scheduled to run Audrey’s Rain (10:30 a.m. and 1 a.m.); A Stranger’s Heart (1 p.m.); The Spitfire Grill (2:30 p.m.); Candles on Bay Street (5 p.m.); Follow the Stars Home (7 p.m.); A Season for Miracles (9 p.m.); and Annie’s Point (11 p.m.).
From May 12 through 17, Hallmark will go for hearts and romance. The net’s “Dedicated to the One I Love” stunt begins weekdays at 9 p.m.: Hidden Places (May 12); Daniel’s Daughter (May 13); What I Did for Love (May 14); Bridal Fever (May 15); and The Good Witch (May 16).
Then on Saturday May 17, Hallmark will showcase See Jane Date (1 p.m.); Hidden Places (3 p.m.); What I Did For Love (5 p.m.); Daniel’s Daughter (7 p.m.); Sommersby (9 p.m.); and The Outsider (11:30 p.m.).
Over Memorial Day weekend, Hallmark’s theme plays to adventurous films under the “White Knuckle Weekend” banner. This collection includes a pair of new original telefilms: Final Approach, which bows Saturday May 24 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., starring Dean Cain, Anthony Michael Hall and Lea Thompson; and Shark Swarm, which premieres the following night in the same window, featuring John Schneider, Daryl Hannah and Armand Assante.
The full White Knuckle Weekend schedule, begins Saturday May 24 with Talking to Heaven (noon); Code 11-14 (4 p.m.); Stone Cold (6 p.m.); Final Approach (8 p.m.); and The Three Musketeers (1 a.m.).
On Sunday May 25, Three Musketeers returns at 11 a.m., followed by an encore of Final Approach at 1 p.m. King Solomon’s Mines, beginning at 4 p.m. and 11 p.m., sandwiches Shark Swarm’s debut.
For Memorial Day, Hallmark has lined up Pandemic, Supernova and Jules Verne’s Mysterious Island at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively. The marathon concludes with a second swim for Shark Swarm at 5 p.m., trailed by Killer Wave at 8 p.m. and a Supernova reprise at 11 p.m.
